For the 50th anniversary of Microsoft’s founding, Bill Gates took to his blog to release the source code of the company’s first OS. The entire post is worth the read, of course — but take a look at what early computer programming looked like. Things have come a long way since the age of BASIC…

Minecraft has historically had pretty funny April Fool’s updates, and this year’s is no exception. Here’s CaptainSparklez playing Craftmine, the April Fool’s Day update for 2025. It’s a bit late (he was out of the country) — but it’s worth the watch.

This is actually insane. Whether or not it goes through remains to be seen, but something important to note, the ban is technically in effect right now. It’s just that Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t enforcing it at President Trump’s direction. It’s a complex mess, and there are questions about the President’s Executive Order even being legal right now.
Regardless, the ban takes effect on Saturday. We’ll see what happens. I wholly doubt China will allow the algorithm to go with it regardless of what the US gives in return, but crazier things have certainly happened in our Nation’s history.
